Will I be able to tell the difference between standard-definition DVD and high-definition Blu-ray?
Absolutely!! Though movies look good on standard-definition DVDs, they are breathtaking when viewed on high-definition Blu-ray discs and high definition TVs. Blu-ray is quickly becoming the desired delivery method when it comes to wedding videography, as couples want to preserve their memories in the highest quality possible. To play Blu-ray discs you will need a Blu-ray player (many players can be purchased for around $100). Both our GOLD and PLATINUM packages come with "combo-disc" boxes, meaning you get both a DVD and a Blu-ray in each box. This way, even if you don't have a Blu-ray player now, you can still enjoy your movie on your DVD player. Later on, if you buy a Blu-ray player, you'll be able to enjoy your film in breathtaking HD, and you won't miss out on the opportunity to have your wedding in HD! You really can't lose with our "combo-disc" option!
How do I reserve my wedding date?
If your wedding is over six months away, $100 and a signed contract is all it takes to reserve the date! Just send us a nonrefundable payment of $100, and we will hold your date for videography services. Then, six months before the event, half of the remaining balance is due. The remainder of the payment is due upon the delivery of your demo DVD. If you are hiring us less than six months from your wedding date, half of the balance and a signed contract is due immediately. The remaining half is due upon delivery of the demo DVD.
Is there a fee for travel?
If your event venue is within a 30-mile radius of our studio (zipcode 01803), there is no travel fee. If your venue is between 30-80 mile-radius of our studio, we charge a flat $40 fee. If your venue is beyond 80 miles from our studio or if overnight accommodations are required, additional travel fees may apply. Just ask us, and we'll let you know.
